Flames of War Battleday

Wolvercote Village Hall, Oxford.

The Club is planning a battleday where players who have not played Flames of War (FOW) are invited to come and give it a go. Regular FOW players are welcome too. The basic plan is that there will be three games over the day trying out a number of different senerio's. Starting with the simpler ones and then progressing to the more "interesting" options. The FOW game play is different to FOG and other similar game systems in that games are focused around objectives and not just about breaking the opposing army. Also you get to experiance the fun/fustration of reserves, and in some games not having all of your list immediately avaiable.

We will try to avoid 'blue on blue' games and it is expected we maybe able to lend an army out for those that do not yet have any figs bought/painted etc. The games will be from any official Late War (LW) list to a maxiumn of 1750pts.

We are aiming for 12-16 players and we are keen to get an indiciation of who can make it/ would like to come. We are looking to invite players from the Oxford, Abingdon and Solent Clubs.
